Oddly tech filled, but built worse than my brother’s Grand Am.
The gauge cluster being the nav screen and where the backup cam is located (which was surprising in an 07) was kinda cool. Everything rattled and creaked and was loose though. The entire center console could be moved a good inch each direction. Which isn’t at all surprising given the Pacifica has always been considered a turd.

Is that the one with the vacuum cleaner built in? That’s legit.

I think that’s the new Town and Coun....errrr, Pacifica.

When I worked on Lost they have us those to drive. They suck.

That NAV shit was THE BOMB back in the day. I kinda want Doug Demuro to drive one and talk about how quirky it was, and how just NOW car makers are doing that again (the directions in the cluster thing).

It’s so wallowy and the steering is incredibly over boosted and for how big they are they’re cramped as all hell.

If I could have that in a car from that time that wasn’t built like... Well, an early 00s Chrysler that’d be bomb.

Gross, almost as bad as a Grand Am.

It’s worse. The Grand Am at least drives half decently and not like my parent’s friend’s pontoon boat.

You should test that by driving the Grand Am into a lake...
to see how it handles...
that’s totally the reason...

As soon as you do the same with your F-body barge.

Any mid-00's or newer Benz! And no the Pacifica is not the same as an R-class, not even close.

I believe you mean “fine tuned sports machine”

I’m still surprised Chrysler resurrected this name for their new minivan. I guess they deemed it forgettable enough that most consumers won’t associate this SUV thing with the new van.

Most of these turds have died by now I think, I know this one I was working on today was on the way out very quickly.

I have a neighbor with one that has well over 200,000 miles on it. I think it’s close to dying, but it’s lived a very long life.
Also, these had terrible visibility; a lot of other moms in my neighborhood bought them in 2007, 2008 and complained about the visibility. I’m glad yours had a backup camera.

Did you know that it was the first car to have the map-in-gauge-cluster setup?
I see them around sometimes. They look pretty nice, at the very least. It’s like this weird SUV-minivan-wagon hybrid mashup that shouldn’t work but it does.

Maybe not died, but the front crossmember probably rotted away. I drove one that was donated to our group and it wasn’t too bad. No creaks or rattles. Relative to some of the other Chryslers of the era, it’s interior is a bit better than the others.

And to think my grandfather (who really doesn’t have a knack for picking good quality cars) wanted me to have one of these for college over a Nissan Murano or a W124 or W210 Benz wagon.
They were utter rubbish when they were NEW. Being a Chrysler product, I suspect time has not been favorable to them.
